We are still yet to understand how selling cloud mining contracts can be profitable for a buyer. In the past, buying bitcoins straight up has always been the better option. However, since many people want information on whether or not there are even cloud mining companies they can trust, we will provide the information based on what we know and let you decide what to do with it.
One reason we are even willing to write about Hashing24 is because they are listed as a partner on BitFury’s website.
BitFury can be trusted, as it has received venture capital backing from quite a few big names. BitFury is also part of the Blockchain Alliance, which helps law enforcement with blockchain investigations.
Hashing24 has its addresses and offices listed publicly on its website. The offices are located in Thailand, Ukraine, and Scotland.
For some more information on the company, check their promotional video:
Hashing24 lets you set a custom plan. You can rent exactly the amount of hash power you want, or spend only a certain amount on hash power if you are on a budget.
One unique feature is that Hashing24 actually sells you ONLY newly minted bitcoins. This proves that the company is actually mining and not selling you bitcoins they’ve already been holding. Once your bitcoins are sent to you from the company, you can verify that the coins are newly minted using any block explorer.
One interesting thing that could put Hashing24 ahead of other cloud companies:
If they let their users signal for certain features, kind of like Slush Pool does.
With the Bitcoin UASF likely to happen, many users want to buy hash power to support their side of the split. This would likely be a very popular feature on Hashing24, so we’d like to see this added at some point in the future.
This is perhaps one of the most important and useful features a cloud mining company could offer, so we are a bit upset that it is not offered at this point by Hashing24 or any other cloud mining company out there.
We are still not sold on any cloud mining company. Hashing24, however, does appear to be an actual mining company and owns mining hardware.
This is very different from many fake cloud mining companies that don’t actually own hardware but just pay you pretend payouts.
Note: Using the code SNKEYTY5 you can get 4% off your order.
